Can i use the cache when working with Visual Styles Modules?
No you shouldn't use any type of caching when you are working with styling and Visual Styles Modules. If you are using cache every change that you apply could not reflect immediately in the preview and in the live site.
Visual Styles Modules shows 2 notices in the main control panel to inform you about the state of the Joomla global cache and about the state of the Joomla cache plugin. When both are disabled 2 green checkmarks will be shown.
