JPageBuilder is, by default, a Joomla component. This means its output is normally displayed inside the component area of the Joomla template you are using. For standard Joomla templates, the page you build will appear within that predefined layout structure.
However, JPageBuilder also includes a special bundled Joomla template designed specifically to use JPageBuilder pages as full-page templates. With this template, you can create pages that take over the entire screen, exactly as shown in the online demo.
By using this native JPageBuilder template, you can turn any builder layout — including the 90+ pre-built templates included with the extension — into a complete, full-screen page for your website. This allows JPageBuilder templates to work as if they were real Joomla template pages.
To enable full-screen rendering, simply activate the option: “Full-sized page container” in the template settings.
This ensures the entire layout expands to fill the full browser width and height, without being restricted by the template’s component area.
With this dedicated template and setup, you can also use the page builder and its grid system to build complete, real full-width/full-screen pages for your website:
The use of the bundled template is optional. If you continue using your standard Joomla template, remember that JPageBuilder output will remain inside its regular component area and anyway will be subject to the template layout in use.
