How can i use shortcodes within Joomla modules?
Shortcodes can be used within Joomla modules in the same way as for Joomla articles.
Using shortcodes within custom HTML modules opens up many possibilities, such as the way to assign widgets to exact positions of the template and integrate shortcodes with other page builders like SP Page Builder.
Adding shortcodes to a custom HTML module rather than to an article is technically the same. Indeed the Joomla editor works exactly in the same way.
The only thing that is required to enable for shortcodes to be processed within modules, is the 'Prepare content' option as visible below:
