External URL in the menu not showing in XML Karma: 0  
Hello,

We are using subdomains (aaa.site.org, bbb.site.org etc.) and for showing and using subdomain's links in the sitemap we organized the menu with "System links - External URLs".
This menu we took as a data source for JSitemap component and called like "Our subdomains". In the html sitemap version we see "Our subdomains" with all necessary links, but in XML not. How can we put this menu and subdomain links into the xml sitemap?

Hello,

in order to have menu items of type 'External URL' in the XML sitemap you have to enter absolute URLs such as: http://www.mydomain.com/page.html
and not relative ones such as:
page.html

This is done because a valid XML sitemap MUST contain only links pointing to the same domain.
In your case if you have verifed all subdomains in Google Webmasters Tools you should be able to get it accepted once added subdomains links to the main sitemap.

OK,
but before doing something in the Webmaster tools we need to get such links visible in the XML sitemap formed by JSitemap component. Again: we see all links in HTML version, but when pressing "Show raw XML sitemap" button - not:
- pressing "Show HTML sitemap" - we see the folder with name "Our subdomain" and all the links inside
- pressing "Show raw XML sitemap" - no this folder and links.

Again, i've already answered to this in the previous post:

But the domain must be the same, if not you need an override

If you want to include subdomains links in the XML sitemap you can quickly open the file:
root/components/com_jmap/views/sitemap/tmpl/default_xml_menu.php
and comment out the line 29, from:

continue;
to
Code:
//continue;
That should do the trick, then you can setup a template override for this file.

All external URLs have already had absolute/full URLs, including http:// prefix. AGAIN: NO appearance in raw XML sitemap
