hi John, this would be very nice.
my live site is on j2.5 but i develop my new one with j3 for what i am interested to integrate sooner or longer your chat component. the reason for what i was asking is that i would like to do some tests how much resources the component are needs in my development environment.
and of course how good the integration is with easysocial.
what i could not check or see in your description from jchatsocial is also one thing about the attachment feature, is there a drag&drop feature?

just let me know what's currently your preferred version for trial of jchatsocial.

About the dragndrop feature for attachments, it was used in a previous version of component, but it was currenlty removed to best fit mobile requirements for space and usability.

No you just need to install the regular version and all the files will be overwrited.

In this way you will update to regular version without lose any settings.
