Well use a chat Facebook-like such as this and remove the main users list is much the same buying a car and get rid of the wheels

By the way probably using CSS should be quite easy hide the main users list

Hello John!

I think a great new feature you could add to a future release would be an option to make the friend list and public chat not overlap the page, but rather float to the right side of the entire page.

Like the chat on facebook, when it is minimized it overlaps but when you expand it, it goes to the side of the content.

Hello and thanks for the suggestion,

really you should already be able to manage floating chat because in version 2.3 has been added support to render chat using Joomla module instead of the fixed right side.

This means you can position chat userslist and public window everywhere inside your page.
