Hmmm it looks like we don't understand each other.
I never said that you can now the IP address of guests, i said that you need to know which IP address range you get spammed to block them, but you can know IP of people that is tracked when messages are exchanged. Also messages can be exchanged by guests if they are enabled not only by registered users.
About the multiple windows, have you enabled the option to get messages delivered to multiple tabs?
And about the video chat, if you visit the website using https link such as
https://blindlight.org and still getting error, the problem is related not to the SSL but to some other issue, such as hardware. To know this you can easily visit the demo website
http://demo.storejextensions.org/jchatsocial_enterprise and check if this works. In such case the problem is your website, if not the problem is your hardware or browser.
