Other users have tried and failed with their Google+ accounts

I can use Google+ to log onto your demonstration site.

The Joomla log shows

2016-10-13T18:52:14+00:00 INFO 94.15.210.68 joomlafailure Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

Its hard to identify any plugin interfering, I have tried a couple to no avail. Is there any tracing that can be enabled?

It's hard to guess what could be the problem, because it's limited to the Google account and there are no other users experimenting it.
