Re:GPTranslate Changelog Karma: 84
GPTranslate 2.34.16 WP - 2026/10/12

  • Added native Yoast SEO integration - og:url, canonical, page title, meta description, Open Graph description and Twitter description are now translated server-side (not only on the client), so search engines and social crawlers see fully translated tags even without executing JavaScript

  • Added JSON-LD schema graph correction for Yoast SEO on every translated page, including the homepage - url, @id, inLanguage, description, schema name, breadcrumb references and ReadAction target now all follow the translated URL and language

  • Fixed: og:description and Twitter description were not translated on pages without a manually set SEO description, since Yoast still generates them from the content excerpt via a separate filter

  • Improvement: pure numeric text nodes are now excluded from translation by default, since they carry no linguistic content and sending them to the AI engine wastes requests

Re:GPTranslate Changelog Karma: 84
GPTranslate 2.34.17 WP/J6/J3 - 2026/10/16

  • Fixed: dictionary replacements of one language pair (e.g. English to French) could leak into the translations and the stored records of another language pair, especially when the crawler translated several languages in sequence

  • Fixed: the dictionary is now case-sensitive everywhere, client-side and server-side, so entries that differ only by case keep their own translation instead of collapsing into the first one

  • Fixed: with the "Apply dictionary to URL aliases" option, a dictionary entry with several comma-separated words used the whole translation field instead of the translation in the same position, producing wrong URL aliases and meta titles

  • Fixed: texts already translated server-side that contained excluded words could be resent to translation on the client side, showing temporary placeholders and losing the uppercase letters of the original text

  • Added new "Change language by redirecting to the language URL" setting: selecting a language from the language switcher redirects to the real URL of that language (e.g. /it/page) instead of translating the page in place. Requires the URL rewriting

  • Added new "Do not add the language to the excluded menu items URLs" setting (Joomla): the URLs of the menu items matching the 'Exclude links from rewriting' patterns, and of their child menu items, are built in the default language of the site, avoiding one URL per language stored in 4SEF

  • Added selective flatten of inner formatting tags: a formatting tag that is the only content of its parent or spans a whole line is kept, preserving the styling of the translated text without changing the stored translations
