jsitemap pro + images Karma: 0  
hi, i have joomla 2.5 + jsitemap pro and when i click on http://www.motustriathlon.com/index.php?option=com_jmap&view=sitemap&format=images&lang=en , give me internal server error. can you help me?

Hi,

this is quite common on large website and well documented at this FAQ: http://storejextensions.org/faq/why-when-i-try-to-generate-images-sitemap-i-get-a-server-error.html

If you can't increase server limits or if you don't want reduce the number of links processed the best solution is using the new feature of AJAX generation of the sitemap.
Everything is well explained in the pdf documentation.

If the ajax button has the same problem it could be the case that it's not a problem of scalability but some other conflict or incompatibilities.

I've also tried to follow these instructions:

It still gives Error 500.

What can I do?

Hello,

if you have already tried to reduce the parameter value for 'Images sitemap request limit' for example to 10, and you still get a server error the problem could be not due to a timeout.

In this case enabling the PHP debug option in jsitemap config and error reporting in the Joomla global config should report the exact problem on the page.
