Exclude single K2 item Karma: 0
Great product!

I have it working as expected but am having trouble hiding one section of K2 articles. These are included in a category that is not linked to from any pages but is used to send out partner promotions via direct links.

I have created a data source to pull K2 items but cannot figure out how to exclude an article or a category from this data source.

Appreciate the help and keep up the good work!

Hello James,

thank you very much!

Exclude a specifc category from K2 data source is easy, just specify an additional 'where' filter condition in the data source
of k2 items based on category IDs of K2 that you need to include or exclude in the sitemap.
You can specify multiple IDs comma separated.

UPDATE:

notice that if you need to include specific cats you have to choose the operator '=' if you need to exclude specific cats you have to choose the operator '!=' (not equals)

Thank you for that information. I saw how to include categories but I was actually wanting to exclude. Since it is only 3 of 22 categories that is simpler. Can I change from "=" to "<>"? I don't see the does not equal SQL option

I added this in the previous post, to exclude cats there is the operator '!=' (not equals)
