[SOLVED]Multilanguage site and Sitemap link Karma: 0  
Hello, I translated my site with a fairly simple joomla component called JA Multilanguage that adds language strings to the url:

Primary Language: http://www.mauzaza.com/en

Secondary Lanague: http://www.mauzaza.com/id

Looking at the sitemap link structure generated by jsitemap I realise that this might be a problem impeding the site to be crawled properly.

Explanation:
If you submit this link: http://www.mauzaza.com/index.php?option=com_jmap&view=sitemap&format=xml&lang=en

it is redirected to this link: http://www.mauzaza.com/en/index.php?option=com_jmap&view=sitemap&format=xml&lang=en

Same thing for the secondary language.
Any thoughts?

Hello Alex,

this is known and it happens because the Joomla multilanguage plugin does the redirect when you open that link in the browser.

However JSitemap already has the technology to avoid 301/303 redirects when a bot lke Google bot or Bing are coming to crawl the sitemap, they always get the real direct link.

yes exactly, you need to submit 2 sitemaps, one per each language using the links above.

Hi John, what's the easiest way to exclude a link when GWT reports an error?

He didn't like the Gravatar links..
