I purchased JSitemap Pro; I filled the MetaInfo through JSitemap in my browser Firefox, and then submitted to Google and also notified Google through Webdeveloper Tools. Now the metainfo is not showing when I look at the info in another browser, Chrome. It does however show in Safari Should I be worried the indexing is not reflected in Google's database?

Also I would like to know how to find out IF Google did use the metainfo I put in; Currenly if I search for "site:astridtimmers.nl" then I find the old search results even though Google 'says' it did crawl after i uploaded the xml yesterday..

Hi Boudewijn,

the meta info once specififed are global, i mean for all browsers. Thus you have to see them for the same link on Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc...

I would suggest to wait some days to see if Google will refresh the meta info titles as specified.

Thanks for the quick response John; did try on a windows-pc as well, Firefox does show the info and IE doesn't... strange thing.
will wait a couple of days and check again.

Yes this is not reasonable, meta info are managed at server level by Joomla itself and outputted to any browsers. Unless some caching systems are active there could not be any difference between a browser and another.
