Meta data doesn't seem to be seen by Google Karma: 0  
Hi there,
I have configured JSitemap on www.astridtimmers.nl, about 4 weeks ago. filled all metadata, uploaded sitemap to Google. Now in the search results (when I type site:astridtimmers.nl) I do not find the metadata that I typed. This has been a couple of weeks now so Google should have been 'around' by now. See attached images for clarification.

Hi Boudewijn,

i just double checked your site and your configuration is correct. Normally Google should take max 2 or 3 weeks to update titles/descriptions in SERP.

If you don't get any changes in about 1 week, submit an inquiry to the Google team asking for help.

the same answer I got about 4 weeks ago. So I will locate the Google support team and ask them to help.\

Hi boudewijn,

ok, i changed the title to 'Meta data' because this issue has nothing to do with the sitemap but only relates to titles and descriptions on pages.

Hi Wouter,

please refer to this FAQ for an update: http://storejextensions.org/faq/why-google-shows-a-different-title-for-my-pages-in-the-serps.html

Google doesn't take anymore metadata as the unique factor to build SERP, there is no more absolute control on this aspect.
