[SOLVED]Sitemap Data Sources k2 Items Karma: 0
Hi Support,

just started today with using your component.
Is sounds and looks very good but i have some starting problems.
But maybe you can give me a push in the right direction

I use k2 on my website and i'm trying to get the k2 items with the sef urls inside k2.
So i started a Sitemap Data Sources k2 Items
To avoid duplicate items inside the sitemap i want to retrieve all the items inside category with id 13.
And select a menu item by "Manual menu item alias for SEF link"

But when doing this all the items are showing and the urls are not good.
What is going wrong

Cheers,
Gerben

Hi Gerben,

the data source for K2 items is managed automatically, never use "Manual menu item alias for SEF link".
The routing for fully SEF links is done automatically by the K2 router, thus no need to change this kind of settings.

About duplicates, i'm not sure what you mean. Normally on your site you should have a single link for your K2 items and thus in the sitemap. The K2 router should always route links to a single entry point if you have correctly configured menu items to link K2.

By the way, if you want to limit links in the sitemap to a specific category you need only to add a filter by category ID, in your case 13, see the below image.

Cheers,

John

One last question,

I have category's and subcategory's, so is it also possible to get all the items of all the items inside the subcategory's by using the id if the main category ?

Cheers,
Gerben

If you have subcategories you need to specify all IDs, both for parent category and all subcategories.
You can specify multiple IDs separating by comma, for example 13,14,15 etc.
