Google Indexing Tester Shows Two Domains Karma: 0
I have just recently installed this extension on my site at http://www.themagicbag.com. When I use the "Google Indexing Tester", it is displaying results from two different domains, both of which I manage. In the Configuration for JSitemap Pro, under "Google Webmaster & Analytics", I have the "Analytics" domain set exactly as it is in my Google Analytics configuration. However, I am seeing results in the Indexing Tester for that domain, plus results for the domain "travelwithhirsch.com", which I also manage, but which is NOT tracked in the Analytics for the account I use for The Magic Bag. All of the links indexed to this site show a crossed-out https: in the URL, and I do not run HTTPS on the site for The Magic Bag. Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Hi,

the Google Webmasters and Analytics is completely unrelated to the Indexing Tester. Also the domain doesn't apply to the Indexing tester that shows results as appear on Google, based on the current site domain or a particular keyword if specified.
To set a specific domain for the Google Indexing tester you can use the parameter for SEO stats visible below.

Cheers,

John

Oh, I'm sorry!! I didn't realize that. I put my full URL in there, and the Indexing tester still shows those other pages. I cleared the cache, to no avail. I think I must have something really wrong going on, and it is VERY likely I did something to cause this. I have no idea where to turn to figure this out.

I am attaching two images. One shows the results I am seeing in the Tester. The second is what the page displays when clicking on the first "incorrect" link. You can see how the page shows the correct domain, but the page displayed is from a completely different site, with HTTPS crossed out.

Just had a quick look at your site. The indexing tester is correct indeed the problem is on your site. Google has indexed mixed URLs both http and https indeed your site works also on https (see image)
https://www.google.com/#q=site:http:%2F%2Fwww.themagicbag.com%2F

You should correct this, configure a redirect from https to http for example using the htaccess. In this way Google will remove the links indexed as https replacing with http only.
