Error when authenticating with Webmaster tools Karma: 1  
Hello,

I have verified ownership of a website numerous different ways (HTML upload and HTML tag), but I cannot get Jitemap to authenticate with Webmaster tools. Here is my proof of ownership: http://screencast.com/t/DqSj1knp0Bh

I get this error message:

Note: I have verified about 50 websites at this point. I was also able to verify the analytics on the same website.

Hello,

the problem should reside in the domain, probably there is a difference in the protocol.

You could have registered and authenticated http://friendsoftheblind.org/ but you are requesting access for https://friendsoftheblind.org/

Try to use the domain http://friendsoftheblind.org or however the same registered on Google Webmasters in the JSitemap configuration parameter.

Thank you, it is in fact an https site. Once I added it like that to Webmaster tools it connected without an issue.
