You already emailed me in the past and i'm able the better answer you. This question is not related to the latest version of the component.

I'm thinking that if you have issues with the aspect of the mindmap the problem could be CSS/JS in the template or other modules maybe altering the normal layout of the sitemap. Of course please double check that there are no javascript issue going on. What you say above could be due to some scripting not functioning properly.
