Update to V3.8 error message: Copy file failed Karma: 0  
Hello,

i have the following problem. If I try to upload the new files to my Joomla 3.4.6 I get the following error message:

"Copy file failed"

Is it possible, that this has something to do with the new joomla update? Permission are at the right setting...

Hello Manuel,

when Joomla says 'Copy faile failed' it has always to do with permissions or 'tmp' folder path as reported at the FAQ http://storejextensions.org/faq/i-receive-an-installation-error-when-installing-component-what-could-be-the-problem.html

You can easily test installing also other extensions.

I finally updated my jsitemap.

I forgot to activate the FTP-User in Joomla. Now everything works fine =)
