HI

what deos it do? because currently it's turned off. Does it need to be on? my sitemap seems to be working on the frontend so what does System - JSitemap utilities do exactly?

Hi

By default it's enabled and it should stay enabled of course. It's done to help doing additional tasks such as meta info management, pingomatic shares and other stuff.
