no you can't do this because the component doesn't work as a crawler for links but using the database and data sources to include links in the sitemap.

What you could do is adding links manually to the sitemap for example creating a hidden menu in Joomla with links of type 'External URL' poiting to the non-Joomla website. This could also be used to generate the sitemap for images.

However this is only possible if the domain of the non-Joomla website is the same of the Joomla website. A sitemap can't contain mixed domains.
