I've just bought this extension, partly because it said that it could map both Hikashop and Jomsocial pages. However, when I try to do this using the "Wizard New Data source", I get the message:

"The extension for this data source is not installed on your Joomla! system"

If it is referring to Hikashop and Jomsocial, I assure you that they are installed on the system and under heavy use. If it is referring to some other extension, I am struggling to figure out which extension it is referring to.

Any guidance would be very much appreciated.

Hi Jonathan,

this could be an issue related to javascript check during data source creation.

Due to a wrong response installed components could not be seen as installed.

Sometimes it could be related to old directive magic quotes enabled.

To test if this issue is related to Javascript response on server, a quick test to do is using the alternative method to create a data source for installed extensions.

Once inside the Wizard screen, right-click on the component icon you need to add and choose 'Open link in new tab'.

If all goes well you should see the green message about data source successfully created.

** SOLVED **

The issue was related to JomSocial legacy update plugin.

It brokes javascript response.

I am also seeing this when clicking the J2Store Products wizard, the open in new tab gives me:

Error
Table 'a0000108_et.#__product_node' doesn't exist

Hi,

the data source wizard includes 'JStore' and not 'J2Store' they are 2 different Joomla extensions by 2 different vendors. Take care to not confuse extensions.

For J2Store there is an importable data source in the download area.
