RSS Feed Crashes Chrome Karma: 0
Hi there, I am trying to get a rss feed to use in concert with Networked Blogs.
When I generate the XML RSS feed, I see it for a moment, but then it crashes Chrome. I believe it is because of the sheer number of articles it is trying to display, but I don't know how to limit the number other than days... and that does not seem to work.
Any guidance.?

And is that the correct feed url?

Hi Donna,

yes the link is correct and articles are few so nothing crashes.
There is a problem in your Joomla however, there is a carriage return before the Joomla starting output and this affects the XML documents too. You have to identify and fix it in order to have well formatted XML documents.

thanks John. Can you give me a little more info? I am relatively new at this and I don't understand what you mean. Is the carriage return IN an article? In the content Module?

Hi Donna,

no i mean that the carriage return is in the Joomla output itself, at the beginning (see attached image)
This issue is commonly caused by some system plugins having bugs.
Although this is not a big problem for HTML it's a problem for all other formats such as XML, feeds, etc
as explained here http://storejextensions.org/faq/xml-sitemap-results-not-well-formatted.html
