Obviously access levels are evaluated by default for menu and contents.

1. Ensure that when you generate the sitemap you are not logged in frontend, otherwise you will get results accordingly to the access levels of your user

2. Ensure that the parameter 'ACL filtering' is not disabled. It's available in the global configuration and inside each data source settings.

Thank you for your reply,

The link 'im talking about has been generated recently automatically, the parameter is not disable,

it has been pulled up from the data source "content".

The content is not linked to any menu, and it as a permission only for my staff "are blogs draft"

from the sitemap the link is visible as blog article, however when clicked the parmission denied the reading.

Hello,

the articles pulled up by the content data source follow the access levels assigned to the current user logged in frontend and opening the sitemap.

The only case when not permitted articles are included in the sitemap is the Google News sitemap, because it provides specific tag for registered articles.

Thank you John,

i don't know if i do not understand or there is a bug or misconfiguration somewhere:

I just found a warning from the google search console, saying that 3 links submitted into the sitemap are not accessible and provide a 404.
I check the link and it is true, so i went to check the article and i found our that, in this single case, the article has "public" permission but it is "not published"

So to me it looks like that the sitemap is ignoring the ACL.

Well i do not understand too, because if the article is "not published" what's the relation with ACL?
The problem would be rather that an unpublished article is included in the sitemap, not that the ACL is ignored.

If an article is unpublished it can't be in the sitemap obviosly, so my thoughts:

1. The article is linked to a menu item still published
2. The sitemap is cached and still contains the article link now unpublished
