Can't generate sitemap Karma: 0  
Hello, I'm having issues generating the sitemap. When I try to generate a sitemap with the AJAX method I get:
Error opening file to store precached sitemap - Context:open_file

Hi Alex,

at a quick glance it sounds like a file permissions issue.
Try to have a look at chmod for the folder used by precaching located at:
yourjoomlapath/components/com_jmap/precache/

The XML files are written in that folder.

I've set it 777 still no go... Is there another folder maybe that needs permissions because before turning AJAX on my sitemap was empty so there's something not letting its creation?

Well if not AJAX precache is used the sitemap is generated in realtime, the AJAX generation is used only for some particular cases such as large sitemaps that results in server timeouts.

However you can contact me at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it providing admin account so i can check possible issues on your site.
