I require assistance with how to attach an existing sitemap.xml to the JSitemap generated sitemap.

We are using Joomla 3.5.1 and have embedded an external system inside of Joomla (not iFrame). The content is displayed on the frontend as if it was a part of Joomla but Joomla has no knowledge of the other system.

The other system generates it's own sitemap already so we only need to join the 2.

I'm not sure where to start, i'm presuming we would add it as a datasource?

Hi,

if the external system has links with the same domain of the main Joomla website you could merge 2 sitemaps in a single one. If domains are different it's mandatory that sitemaps will be submitted separetely.

Moreover this is not strictly needed because you can submit 2 sitemaps separately without any extra work or complex integrations between JSitemap and the external system.
