Hi Petra,

not sure what could be the problem because this never happened before.

Eventually ensure that there is not a wrong domain specified in the 'Advanced' settings and eventually try to turn off the SEF version of sitemap link.

Turning off "SEF version of sitemap link" actually did do the trick.
