Problems updating JStimapPro 4.2 to Joomla 3.6.2 Karma: 0  
Hi John,

Updated Joomla to 3.6.2 now get a blank screen when loading JSMP 4.1

Tried installing JSMP 4.2, nothing happens, just keeps trying to install

Hi Phil,

it looks you have issue uploading the zip package or with the Joomla installer.
Try to use the built in auto updater, see here for more informations: http://storejextensions.org/faq/how-can-i-update-the-component.html

As I said Jogn JSMP does not load the backend, just a blank screen since updating to Joomla 3.6.2

So how can I use the Auto updater?

Mmmm in such case you have to upload the ZIP package through the Joomla installer.

If the package is not able to be uploaded, try to use the install from folder method uploading and unpacking it by FTP.

For Auto updater do you mean Joomla Updater?

On another MS site there was an update for JSMP, but there was an error - Invalid extension update!

No the Joomla Updater is still not usable, it has been integrated starting from version 4.2 and later using the proper license email validation.

Now the only method you can have to update is using the regular Joomla installer as always been till now.
