Google is finding urls in my site that I would prefer not be getting indexed, or even be available for that matter.
i.e. http://domain.ext/site_content/something/whatever
Is there a setting that I am missing?
When I view the site http://thewoodlandsrestaurantreviews.com/site_content/, I am presented with a list of categories in the site.
I've built other sites in Joomla and don't recall this happening before.

The site uses JSitemap pro, Flexicontent, and has seo friendly urls / url rewriting enabled.

TIA for your input.

Hi Ron,
if you want certain links not be getting indexed, you have to use the robots.txt

Adding a directive:

Disallow: site_content

will de-index all such links from Google and other search engines.

Best regards
John

Thanks for the suggestion but, the folder doesn't actually show up on the site - something is creating it / virtual folder and I am trying to find out what could be causing it.

In any case the robots.txt will block links.
