I have found following problem. My website runs with http, the backend is redirect always to https.

I have found that the items in my RSS (links to articles) are sometimes generated as http and sometimes as https. I guess it depends when RSS is regenerated, during normal user session of backend user session,

This leads to a problem that external engines importing my RSS entries to social medias recognize the items generated via http and not the same as https so those are importing duplicates of both. This constantly changing RSS from http to https and vice versa causes other problems as well.

It should be possible to force the component to generate RSS links using one protocol.

Could you please take a look at this and find a solution?

Hi,

every XML sitemap/feed includes links accordingly based on the domain/protocol used for the generation, this is how the Joomla routing works by default dynamically.

If you want to set always a specific domain for the feeds you can use the parameter visible in the screenshot, included in the JSitemap advanced configuration.

I have realised recently that this option does not work correctly. When I set this option (custom domain) and regenrate the xml site map - it is ok. But when I call the sitemap url after some time (days) I see again https in the urls ..
I have to investigate this more.
