Cloudflare blocking JSitemap Crawler (JSitemapBot)

If you are using Cloudflare on your website, please note that it may block the JSitemap crawler (JSitemapBot) by default. This can prevent sitemap generation or cause missing data such as empty image sitemaps, because the crawler is unable to access your website content.

To resolve this issue, you can whitelist the JSitemap user agent in your Cloudflare security settings:

1. Log into your Cloudflare dashboard.
2. Go to Security -> WAF -> Tools (or Firewall Rules, depending on your plan).
3. Add a rule or exception to allow requests with the following user agent:
JSitemapBot
4. Save the changes and try regenerating your sitemap.

After doing this, JSitemap will be able to crawl your site normally again.

It’s recommended to check your Cloudflare firewall logs if you experience sitemap generation problems — look for any entries showing requests blocked with user agent JSitemapBot.
