Removing www Karma: 0  
I tried using the 301 redirect to go from " http://www.mysite.com " TO " https://mysite.com "
But it doesn't seem to redirect. Do I have to wait for Google index or is this spontaneous?

It looks that your message is OOT... not related to JSitemap
However to performa a redirect from www to not-www you need to configure your htacess
