images widgetkit gives error webmastertools robots Karma: 0
Hi, I have a error in webmastertools for the images sitemap. Widgetkit gallery puts them in the cache. I tried to make the cache accessible in robots.txt but still got the error.

User-agent: *
Disallow: /administrator/
Disallow: /bin/
Disallow: /cache/
Allow: /cache/widgetkit/
http://www.soukz.nl/index.php?option=com_jmap&view=sitemap&format=images

<image:image>
<image:loc> http://www.soukz.nl/cache/widgetkit/gallery/40/Hamamdoeken-3-edb62fb22c.jpg
</image:loc>
<image:title>Hamamdoeken-3</image:title>
</image:image>
</url>

How can I make google indexing all the images from the gallery's?

Regards,
Raoul

Hi Raoul,

i think you should try to remove completely the:

Disallow: /cache/

Moreover when you change robots.txt it takes some days for GWT to refresh.
You can check in GWT and robots section when it has fetched updated robots.
At that point you can try again.

John

Thnx John, I will give it some time. I tested the url and it says it is ok. Maybe it takes some time to get the warnings out. If the problem is solved I will post it.

Ok Raoul,

i would remove completely disallow for cache folder, just to be sure that nothing can block images for widgetkit.
I don't think there could be any other reason.

John
