That is the link..

There is also one for my Finnish language content, but its the same problem with that.

If you look at the page source of course it is a HTML page. So I do not see how Google will ever accept these types of links.

Hello,

yes the sitemap is redirected to an HTML document, not sure if you are using sh404sef and you have configured it correctly to work with JSitemap, if not a working link to submit to Google webmasters is this: https://www.tekmil.com/index.php/en/component/jmap/sitemap/xml?format=xml

or even better use raw links for search engines submission:
https://www.tekmil.com/index.php/index.php?option=com_jmap&view=sitemap&format=xml&lang=en

Can you tell me how you got those links?

Is this a setting in the config for your sitemap extension?

Also, this 'correct' configuration of SEF links, how do I make sure mine is correct? And what should those settings be?

I was able to add both my English and Finnish sitemaps now. Using the link format you gave.

But for the future I would like to know what I did wrong. etc.

Well basically leave the default configuration for the parameter that generates different type of links, keep it to 'No' as by default. With raw links there will be less problems

OK..

Hey the timeout on this forum is pretty severe..I have logged in 3 times now just to make a reply. And secondly, what is with no right click? Seriously, it's a fairly important function on a forum considering spell-check..

Thanks, the session timeout is ruled to 10 mins for security reasons
However there is nothing to prevent the right click
