Re:[SOLVED]Link found in HTML but not in XML sitemap Karma: 84
Hello,

it seems that your problem is a bit different from the one discussed in this thread.
If the sitemap includes the link: /cms/component/content/article/2-contentpages/93-xyz
it means that the article 93 has no menu item linking it or the containing category. So the Joomla router can't resolve its alias.
This should be solved for example creating a menu item (even if hidden) linking the article or the category.

Of course you could even go for the solution of the menu item of type 'External URL' using an hidden menu. In that case the link must be absolute: http://www.yourdomain.com/cms/category1a/category1b/2-contentpages/93-xyz
and the data source for the hidden menu must be published and must have the option to include 'External link' in the sitemap flagged as enabled.

Re:[SOLVED]Link found in HTML but not in XML sitemap Karma: 0
I made a menu entry linking to the article. But then the URL in the sitemap looks like this:

/cms/xyz

But, as I said, it has to be:

/cms/category1a/category1b/2-contentpages/93-xyz

Otherwise I don't have a specific module visible (which is a menu on the left side).

When I create an absolute external link (invisible, but inside JSitemap published menu, external links are activated), the result is as mentioned before:

/cms/component/content/article/2-contentpages/93-xyz

Maybe my problem is unsolvable within JSitemap and I have to change my site in a way that the URL /cms/xyz displays my side-menu (the module)?

EDIT: I solved it! It was my fault. When adding a menu with an external link (and an absolute URL) the correct entry appeared in the sitemap. BUT there was still the old entry, which I had to deactivate in the "Content" data source.

Thanks!
