JChat Social is not appearing on CRMery dashboard... ideas? Karma: 0
Well.... I'm running a 3.x Joomla site and all is well except for a minor issue I can't seem to track down. I'm running CRMery (CRM system) and JChat Pro. JChat plays nicely with all apps (even Project Fork's dashboard) -- but not CRMery. It is nowhere to be found as soon as I'm on a CRMery page.

All are latest versions and template assignments are identical to all other Joomla components.

What I did see it that only the jchat_base and jchat_optionsbutton_popup divs are showing up... the jchat_wall_popup and jchat_usertab_popup divs are missing between the footer and end of body in the generated source.

Any ideas where to look for the problem??????

It seems that a javascript conflict occurs in pages where CRMery is used.
Probably some scripts used by CRMery break something in the chat app.
I should have a look at source code of the pages to find something more.

Okay... interesting update... setting compatibility Mode to 1 (it's been on 2 since install) yielded JChat Pro appearing on CRMery page but with incorrect behavior and partial rendering (Public window but no private window)..

... still digging

Can you provide insight on what is the difference between the two compatibility modes?

Sure,

technically the difference is the order of inclusion of the chat scripts.
In some cases swapping the order of the scripts before or after that of the component in execution can solve issues.

I've determined that the conflicting js files are crmery.js and jquery.ui.widget.js. I looked through them but don't know the jchat code well enough to spot the conflict. Any more suggestions? I can provide you with the (2) crmery scripts if that would help.
