Rooms not showing on frontend for logged in Registered User Karma: 0  
I have created a user (paulvdmerwe) an assigned him to the Registered User Group in the Joomla backend.

I have create a Room that is assigned to Registered

However the room is not showing on the side bar on the front end when (paulvdmerwe) is logged in.

What am I doing wrong?

Hello,

ensure that the user assignment to groups is correct, the user paulvdmerwe is assigned to the access level 'registered' as the chatroom. Take care that chatrooms works the same as Joomla articles, based on access level not directly groups.

If so, ensure that the cache parameter in the chat configuration is turned off. When it's turned on the chatrooms are cached thus that could be the problem.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried what you suggested and further read the jchatsocial enterprise document to see if I have missed anything without any luck.

Is there a chance you could send me your direct email so I can send you the login details for the site we are working on to see where I am going wrong?

However if the cache is disabled as i suggested, the problem looks related to the Joomla user groups assignment itself, nothing to do with the chat app.
