I see (I think), but precisely the problem of users that all time when browser is restarted, the setup reseted and turn off the sounds all time manually.

That's the standard behavior, because all the chat application normally is based on the Joomla session. When users close the browser Joomla closes the session and restart a new one on next login.

As an alternative you can set audio on/off globally in the chat configuration, otheriwse you need a custom solution based on persistent data saved into Joomla database per each single users, to remember preferences.
