Sorry if this is not the right place to post here. I am thinking of purchasing this component and had a couple of questions.

Can users create their own chat rooms or is it only down to the administrator in the back end?

Is this just a pop up style thing or can this be embedded in/menu itemed to a page?

I want to have the core of this on a page of my website where useres can go talk to people and create there own chat rooms. maybe wile they are browsing the rest of the site they will get notified. but the core of this is they goto a webpage. like yahoo chat rooms used to be

Hi David,

thanks for interest.

The chatrooms currently are managed only by backend, so users can access chatrooms based on Joomla access levels, but can't create chatrooms. Probably in future will be added also permissions to create chatrooms by frontend users.

About the chat embed/positioning, you should wait version next version 2.3 where there will be an advanced management of chat as a module, so that you will be able to position the chat as a normal Joomla module, following template position and pages.

yes of course the state of sounds On/Off is stored for the current session,
using something more advanced of a cookie thanks to HTML5
