Hi.

I was wondering it is possible to use jchatsocial as a live blogging tool.

What I mean is having the chat showing messages the "old way", each message underneath the other (and not left - right) with administrator for example having a different message style (message highlighted or another color).

Hi,

it's not the purpouse of the extension, but if it's a matter of restyling the app you can do it using a template override.

Hi.

Can you please point out where is the chat template I have to modify?

After giving it more thought, I would be happy if I could distinguish a specific user's posts (e.g admin) in some way. For example having another font weight and color and/or a different color for the bubble that contains the message.
I would be also nice if I could have admin's posts on the right side and all other users' posts on the left.

Hi,

you could override some styles directly inside your template css file.

If instead you want to proceed with a full template override for the whole component, you find instructions in the PDF docs at the paragraph 'Choosing a different or custom template'
