Thanks for a great extension.
I have relegated chat to a single page in a module position.
I would like to make certain that:
1) Sounds and plugins run only from this page
2) How to override these sounds persistently
3) Place buttons on the page that allows chat room changes.

Hi,
in the chat configuration you can select exclusion pages, so you can exclude all but that page of your choice. Also if you assign the module only to that page the plugin will run only there.

Sounds are located at root\components\com_jchat\sounds\mp3

I can't tell you how to place buttons for chat rooms change, it's a complex javascript app so it would require a custom development.
