users logged in with facebook have blank user pictures. Cant find a way round it and have searched forum before posting.

Users logging in with facebook do get in and their names show but they get the error

"user informations not found and retrieved from the social network"

There are no filters applied. I just installed today and might be missing something very easy.

Facebook app is approved for
email
Provides access to the person's primary email address. This permission is approved by default.
public_profile
Provides access to a person's basic information, including first name, surname, profile picture, gender and age range. This permission is approved by default.
user_friends
Provides access to a person's list of friends that also use your app. This permission is approved by default.

Hi,
you should not use Instant facebook social login and JChat social login together, they could conflict and the throw the error reported.
Avatar: it's expected it's how it works. At the moment the avatar used in the social network is imported by IFBlogin module BUT NOT in the chat app. however it's a planned feature in future release of JChat
If you have IFBLogin just use it without doubling the social login feature in Jchat too.
If you still get "user informations not found and retrieved from the social network" check your Joomla and source code for any other inclusion of the Facebook SDK with different ApiKey by other extensions. This is a common issue that leads to this error.
