Hello,

this is not provided, the avatar can be grabbed thanks to integration with supported social extensions such as EasySocial but not a content authoring extension such as EasyBlog.

If you want to develop your own and add it to JChatSocial, you find the avatar management in the file:
root/administrator/components/com_jchat/framework/helpers/users.php
in the function named 'getAvatar'
