Is It possible in Jchat pro to get an email when someone wants to chat with me?

If i want the chat to work ONLY from a menu tab, where can i then find information about that?

In the pro version there is a feature to send an email every time a new conversations is started between 2 users.
The chat is a web application, so you need to leave browser work with an opened tab to receive and start chats.

About the menu, you find a dropdown in the chat configuration under advanced settings, to choose menu items exclusions.

Do you mean i have to have the site opened on a computer before i can get an email from a user? If yes, then this was not my intention, the intention was to get an email from a user, and THEN start the web from a tablet, is'nt that possible?

Hi Jan,

i understand your concept, you mean having an alert like a private messaging inviting to start chatting.
This feature is really not the challenge of the chat system that works using a realtime stream of messages and not deal with email or offline users. By the way it could be a good feature to develop for the next release.
