Hi
I had version 2.4
jchatsocial_professional_v2.4_forjoomla3.x
working fine

In Joomla 2.5.27

I updated to jchatsocial 2.5
jchatsocial_professional_v2.5_forjoomla3.x

And it gaves me error:
500 jhtml jquery not supported. file not found

Hello you are installing the wrong version, please note the name of the file:

jchatsocial_professional_v2.5_forjoomla3.x.zip

It's for Joomla 3.x not for Joomla 2.5
