Installation problem Joomla 2.5.11 Karma: 0  
I'm trying to install the: responsivizer_v2.1.1_forjoomla1.6_1.7_2.5.zip file on joomla version 2.5.11 and I'm getting,

JFolder::create: Could not create directory
Warning: Failed to move file!

Can anyone help

Hello Jonathan,

it's a proble due to folder permissions of the Joomla installer, refer to this FAQ: http://storejextensions.org/faq/i-receive-an-installation-error-when-installing-component-what-could-be-the-problem.html

Eventually contact me if you need some info, usually you need to access by FTP to change chmod on Joomla folders.

Hi John,

Thanks for the quick reply, I have checked and the tmp folder says unwritable but I have uploaded K2 and other components to the site, without a problem. I have FTP access what should the CHMOD setting be for the tmp folder? currently set at 755

Hi Jonathan,

because the Responsivizer install also plugins, template and modules, eventually check also permissions of that folders, setting chmod to 755 should be ok.

I had this same problem and found my configuration.php contained incorrect information, the following helped resolve the problem:
