Remove Menu Category Text from desktop View Karma: 0
Hello,
Since we switched to Responsivizer, it adds on text links of our category menus on the desktop version of our site:
see: www.thefunfactor.ca . Is there any way to operate responsivers without having these text links appear on our desktop site?

New to using this so trying to learn.

Thank you!

Hello again,

it looks like you have assigned a shared module instance for category menus to a template positions matching both desktop and responsivizer mobile template.

You need to ensure that mobile modules are assigned to proprietary Responsivizer positions, all prefixed with 'responsivizer_'

As an advice download the template positions screen from your reserved area to have a map of them

Greetings
John

Hi John,
Sorry this is a reply to an older thread - I am a moderately experienced user - but I am not sure i understand what you are suggesting that I do.

I don't quite understand what to do with your suggestion of:

You need to ensure that mobile modules are assigned to proprietary Responsivizer positions, all prefixed with 'responsivizer_'

As an advice download the template positions screen from your reserved area to have a map of them

Is there someone who might be able to assist me with this?

Thank you!

Hi,

reading your first post i guessed that you was talking about some elements showed also in the desktop version of the website.

The Responsivizer template is completely separated from your desktop one, so the only case in which you can have elements reflected in the desktop template is that a module is assigned to a template position valid both for the desktop and the mobile template.

For this reason i suggested to check the module positions in my latest post.

If i'm completely misunderstanding what you are talking about your problem, please contact me at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it providing detailed explanations and screenshots of the issue.

Cheers,
