Plugin Settings for Desktop and Mobile Karma: 0
We have just installed Responsivizer, but when switching the "Enable Template Switcher" either on or off, both the Desktop and Mobile versions then assume the setting, i.e. when on, both Desktop and Mobile will show Mobile version and when off, both Desktop and Mobile will show the Desktop version.

Could you perhaps provide us with all the different plugin settings where we have the Desktop version on the Desktop and Responsivizer Mobile version on the Mobile device.

Hello,

the predefined one is the correct settings.
"Enable Template Switcher" must be to 'Yes' to have the Desktop version on the Desktop and Responsivizer Mobile version on the Mobile device only.

If you get the mobile version on your desktop, ensure that you have not the cookie still active and in that case ensure to clear cookies. The plugin does a device detection to switch to the mobile template thus there are no reason to have the mobile version on desktop unless a cookie is propagated or the browser is spoofing the user agent as mobile.

Greetings,
John

Thanks John, we will do this. How does one ensure that cookies are cleared everytime one switch/test the website on the different devices, i.e. Desktop and Mobile?

Not sure to catch you, if you want to test the mobile site on desktop it would be better use the device emulator included in responsivizer. The emulator doesn't use cookies. The only way to force a mobile cookie when visiting the site on desktop would be using the Chrome emulator to spoof the user agent.
