I have version 2.2 of responsivizer on my website, with a fair amount of customizations. What steps can I take to maintain these customizations if I update to version 2.3.1 and not lose all of my work?

Hi Holly!

Technically there should not be issues about losing customizations during updates because only the main template file index.php is overwritten and updated. All custom code in the main.css file will be mantained. In some cases after the update you may need to activate the option 'Include compatibility styles'.

Of course an update won't change any settings or configuration of the component.

By the way follow these advices to perform a safe update:

1) Try the update on a cloned test domain before going on the production website

2) If not possible, take a site backup before updating to be able to restore it in case you lose something
