Slideshow Karma: 0
I have turned on the Slideshow. I can add images and the slideshow basically works.

However, the fields for Text Alt, Caption and Image Link are all blank and I cannot enter anything into any of them. The documentation mentions a third tab called "Manage Slideshow Images", but my version only has the two tabs.

Does anyone know how to enter the text for the images?

Regds,
Dave

Hello Dave,

the fields Text Alt and Caption are standard text fields, just type into them to write. The Image Link is also managed by the Joomla media window that can be used to select images. You can try the backend in the demo area if needed, see here to login: http://demo.storejextensions.org/responsivizer/article-1.html

John

Okay, it does not work with Firefox 31.1.0 (on the desktop, not mobile- latest Suse). You cannot enter anything into the three fields. Joomla is 2.5.27

Also, the image insertion window does not have a place for the image link (only the image URL).

But, the latest version of Chrome allows text entry to the three fields.

Note that neither Chrome or Firefox allows you to dismiss the image insert window with "Cancel", you have to dismiss the window itself.

As entry of the image info is a one time event, I will just use Chrome for the moment.

I will check some other browsers and report back.

Regards,
Dave

Hi Dave,

thanks to report this issues, i will investigate using both browsers on Joomla 2.5 to find a fix.

Okay, thanks. Further information:

Opera has the same problem (i.e. cannot enter to the text fields in Slideshow configuration).

Konquerer works as does Chrome.

IE 8 also works.

Cheers,
Dave
